Haus Rules

Welcome to GOOD HAUS!

To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for you and everyone who will be sharing this space with you, please review these rules carefully and do not hesitate to reach out to the Management at [email protected] if you require further information or any clarification.

Your strict adherence to these rules is very much appreciated.

Enjoy your stay!

1. Please ensure all windows, front door and gates are securely locked each time you leave the premises, and before going to bed each night. The Management will not be liable for any loss or damage to your belongings during your stay in GOOD HAUS.
2. All overnight non-GOODSTUPH guests shall require Management’s prior written approval.
3. Parties and large gatherings after 9pm are strictly prohibited.
4. Please be considerate of our neighbours – they have been very welcoming and friendly to us and we want to be GOOD neighbours to them.
5. Stairs and thresholds and glassware – please be careful when moving around the premises. The Management will not be liable for any self-inflicted injuries suffered during your stay in GOOD HAUS.
6. Animals are not permitted inside the house, though you may invite the neighbourhood cats and dogs to our front yard and garage area. If they so accept your invitation, please keep an eye on them and clean up after them.
7. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Cigarette butts and ashes belong in the ashtray provided.
8. No illegal or immoral activities within GOOD HAUS please thank you.
9. Please do not rearrange the furniture within the premises. Before leaving GOOD HAUS, please return all things to their original positions, as they were when you first entered GOOD HAUS.
10. Please turn off all lights, air-conditioners and electronic devices when you are not using them. 
11. You will be responsible for any and all damages or breakages to anything within GOOD HAUS that is caused by you. Please report all damages or breakages to the Management.
12. If any equipment is malfunctioning, you may try troubleshooting by referring to the user manuals available in the living room drawer. If that does not work, please report the malfunction to the Management immediately so repairs can be carried out. Please do not try to repair or take apart any equipment on your own.
13. Garbage and recycling:
    • Garbage and recyclables are collected from the front gate every Tuesday and Saturday at around 5pm.
    • Large garbage bags and bin bags can be found in the kitchen cupboard.
    • If at any time you need to empty a bin within the house, please tie up the bin bag and place it inside the lined black garbage bin in the garage.
    • Recycling bins for paper and plastic are under the stairs.
    • Remember to make it for collection times, otherwise you’ll be stuck with your garbage until the next collection time! (At the same time, please do not place your garbage bags outside too early because it rains frequently and none of our neighbours leave garbage outside their homes.)
